why the internet ?

why the internet?

The latest estimate is that there are over 8 million people in the UK who are accessing the Internet on a regular basis - with an estimated growth rate of 20% per annum. New technologies, including Digital TV, which will allow Internet access without a PC, mean that this growth is likely to only accelerate. There is even a political driving force behind it - largely in recognition of the importance of embracing this relatively new technology.

And there is a special term to describe all these people so far as businesses are concerned - and that term is "customers".

BUT - it is not enough just to "jump on the bandwagon". If businesses are to invest in new technology and an "Internet presence" they need to know the benefits.

And those benefits are intrinsic within the first paragraph. Quite simply the Internet is becoming the "shopfront" of the future. In fact - for many people the future has been reached. Increasingly when people are looking for goods or services they have learnt to use the search engines in the Internet to quickly target in on their precise requirement - frequently saving on much searching through Yellow Pages and many phone calls before finding precisely the supplier they want.

The obvious outcome of this is that as more and more people become more and more "Internet aware" so there will be fewer and fewer who can be reached by old-fashioned means.

Most importantly - it can be surprisingly cheap to gain an Internet presence with Crislis - thus achieving that all-important modernity WITHOUT breaking the bank.

Until recently, to gain access to this marketing medium you had to have your own computer, a modem and subscribe to an Internet Service Provider. Then, if you wanted to actually have your own Home Page on the World Wide Web, unless you were prepared to invest in yet more expensive software and a substantial amount of time, you had to build something rather simple and unsophisticated with little chance of YOUR target market ever finding it.

Whether you have a computer or not, whether you are already on the Internet or not we can help you grasp this opportunity. So....... what can we do for you?
